Meeting Minutes
SELECTMEN’S MEETING MINUTES
January 8, 2018
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Chairman Harris. Present were Ms. Pitt and Mrs. Paight. Also present were Ellen Smith, Town Administrator and Police Chief Christopher Lyons.
Chief Lyons updated the Board on several items. He will be receiving 4 copies of the Emergency Plan from the dam administrator in the next few weeks. The Chief provided the Board with a copy of the current contract with the Town Prosecutor as well as proposal from Stone Pond Technology outlining computer services for consideration. Chief Lyons left the meeting at 6:40 pm.
Ms. Pitt moved Chairman Harris seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the December 26, 2017 meeting as written and the minutes of the December 29, 2017 meeting as amended, vote to approve was unanimous.
Mrs. Paight moved and Chairman Harris seconded a motion to accept the January 11, 2018 Direct Deposit Register in the amount of $8,285.75 and Payroll Check Register in the amount of $1,594.28 and the January 8, 2018 Accounts Payable in the amount of $56,318.20, vote to approve was unanimous.
Tony Cavaliere joined the meeting at 7:05 pm. and updated the Board on a few ongoing issues.
He will move forward to get a proposal to address the decrease in output of the wells and will begin to work with Granite State Rural Water Association to adjust water rates. Mr. Cavaliere left the meeting at 7:25 pm.
Mrs. Smith briefly discussed the budgets to be presented at the January 9, 2018 meeting with the Budget Advisory Committee.
Chairman Harris moved and Mrs. Paight seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting, vote to approve was 3-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
