ATTENTION BOAT OWNERS:
John Fletcher of Family Barber, Bait & Tackle Shop is no longer registering boats for the Town of Marlborough. I would like to thank John for performing this task on behalf of the Town of Marlborough in the past.
You can now Renew the municipal portion of your boat registration at the Town Clerk's Office.
Simply bring the registration renewal form you received in the mail from the State of NH with the fees shown in the Boat Fee Due area to the Town Clerks Office and we will provide you with the receipt required at the DMV in Keene. By paying your boat fees in Town, the dollars you spend stay here in Marlborough. Unlike motor vehicle registration fees, boat fees may be paid in any town that accepts them, and your dollars stay at the location these fees are paid.
This process is for renewals only at this time. We are currently on a waiting list in Concord to process the entire boat registration for you.
ATTENTION DOG OWNERS:
An animal population control fee is now part of the license fee. This money will be sent to the State and given to low income persons to have their dogs and cats sterilized. The fees are as follows:
Late Fees: $1.00 per month shall be charged if fees are not paid by June 1, 2008.
Any owner keeping a dog contrary to the provisions of NH Statutes RSA: 466 shall forfeit $25.00 to the Town in which the dog is kept in addition to the above $1.00 per month charge.
Note: Marlborough's leash law has been in effect since 1975.
